On March 21st, Dr. John Wood, author of Ordinary Lives, Extraordinary Mission, and his family conducted a retreat for our second graders who are preparing to make their First Eucharist. The retreat entitled, “Dragon Slayers” walked parents and children alike through the process of identifying sin and the importance of Reconciliation, as well as bringing to life the concept of transubstantiation and the importance of the Eucharist.
The second graders are preparing to receive their First Eucharist on May 2nd.
