We are only a few weeks away from the start of a new music season at St. Peter’s.
The St. Peter’s Traditional Choir will begin its season with rehearsals starting Thursday, September 9 at 7 p.m. in the choir loft. In addition to the choir’s usual performances at 11:30 a.m. Sunday Mass, the choir also sings at Christmas Midnight Mass, Holy Week and Easter Masses, the annual Lessons and Carols for Advent, plus other special events.
The Parish Contemporary Ensemble sings weekly at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Mass. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings at 5:30 p.m. in the HS Choir room. It is open to singers and musicians.
The Parish Handbell Choir always welcomes new ringers. The choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the HS Choir room. The Bell Choir performs approximately once a month.
The Parish Children’s Choir will begin rehearsals soon after school resumes. Full safety measures will be observed. Rehearsal times and performance dates will be announced as soon as possible thereafter.
