Students in social studies with Mr. Roy Shoulders completed their projects for Black History month and some are in the photo below. Their assignment was to research and prepare a poster with information on a person who had a profound effect on history–not just black history but history in general. Mr. Shoulders encouraged students to take someone who was perhaps a bit obscure and not necessarily at the top of the list in terms of fame.
