Scholarships & Financial Aid

Attending St. Peter’s School is more affordable than you think.  Currently, 84% of families who attend St. Peter’s receive some form of financial aid.  Financial Aid comes from various sources and is granted primarily through income requirements and the individual circumstances of the applying family.

Scholarship Sources

Ohio EdChoice Scholarships

Ohio EdChoice Scholarships are available to qualifying families who meet certain income requirements or live in a school district designated by the Ohio Department of Education.  Students who qualify can receive up to $5,500 for grades K-8 and $7,500 for high school.

Catholic Parishioner Scholarship

Families from Catholic parishes in North Central Ohio who are active in their Catholic faith can apply for a Catholic Parishioner Scholarship.  These scholarships are funded through direct support of parishioner stewardship in supporting the ministry of Catholic education.  Scholarship awards vary by grade level.

Msgr. Edward C. Dunn Foundation

The Msgr. Edward C. Dunn Foundation was established as a long-term endowment for St. Peter’s School. Several families have established scholarships to support students with financial need.  These scholarships are awarded through the Financial Aid process.

Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund

The Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund! provides need-based scholarships to families throughout Northwest Ohio, to continue to grow minds and create futures, and give hope for young people with tuition assistance that enables them to attend the independent K-8 schools of their choice.

St. Peter's Annual Fund

The Annual Fund at St. Peter’s raises nearly $100,000 each year that is used to provide financial aid and unrestricted operational support.  Awards are based on financial need.

Financial Aid Process

Every family applying to St. Peter’s School has the opportunity to request a scholarship and/or financial aid for their student(s). Working in partnership with parents/guardians, St. Peter’s School wants to ensure that the young people in our parish and local communities have a chance to receive an affordable Catholic education.
