Admissions Process

Becoming a Spartan

We are looking forward to you joining the St. Peter’s School family!  As a Spartan, our faith and values are reflected in every aspect of our school.  Academic excellence, consistent discipline, and Christian values that permeate our curriculum remain our focus.

The application process can be demanding at times, but our enrollment team is here to help you through the process.  Please do not hesitate to call or email us with any questions.

Students who enroll in Montessori and continue through high school graduation form bonds that last a lifetime.  Many of our families are multi-generational attending the same school that their parents and grandparents did before them.

St. Peter’s School recruits and admits students of any race, sex, color, age, gender, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, handicap (if a student can safely function in the environment with the support and services that the school can offer), or religion to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities. In addition, the school will not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, age, gender, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, handicap, or religion in the administration of its educational policies, scholarships, loans, athletics, fee waivers, and extracurricular activities.

The Admissions Process

1

Visit Our Campus

Prospective families are welcome to tour the campus during or after the school day.  Students are also encouraged to participate in a Shadow Day.  Your child will be matched with similar interests or a familiar face.

2

Principal Meeting

All families are required to meet with the principal(s) based on your child’s anticipated grade level.  At this meeting, the principal will get to know more about your students and family.

3

Entrance Testing

Initial entrance testing for the prospective student(s) to assess their academic achievement levels.  Transfer students will also need to provide a copy of their child’s academic and discipline records.  This will help our principals determine whether our school will be able to meet the academic and social needs of your student.

4

Scholarship/Tuition Meeting

Parents/Guardians will meet with our Enrollment Coordinator to discuss financial aid and scholarships available to families.  This includes the Ohio EdChoice Scholarship Program and internal financial aid programs.

5

Pre-Registration

Parents will complete an online registration with Alma Start, complete a FACTS financial aid application, and complete the Ohio EdChoice scholarship application (if applicable).

6

Acceptance Letter

Final acceptance into St. Peter’s School is made when parents sign their enrollment letter, scholarship award applications, and tuition contacts.  Once these are completed, your student(s) will officially be enrolled at St. Peter’s School.
