Mr. Jerry Bradner had students in his high school math classes prepare Christmas card messages last week to our U.S. servicemen and servicewomen. The program, Holiday Mail for Heroes, is sponsored by the American Red Cross and Mr. Bradner has involved his students in this program for many years. Across the street in the elementary building, art instructor Mrs. Jennifer Pennell had students draw holiday cards in art class that contained messages they composed in Language Arts class. Through the program, Friends of Our Troops, St. Peter’s Elementary and Junior High Student Council will then send these to men and women in the U.S. Armed Forces serving overseas.
