The Dunn Foundation sponsored the Moonjar Project again this past summer with students submitting a short essay describing what they did with their moonjar. The moonjar has three sections–one for save, one for spend, and one for share. Students were challenged to write an essay on how they earned their money, basis for decision on how much to save and how much to share, their goals for spending and sharing and what they learned from the project.
The essays were judged by two Dunn Foundation trustees and the winners received Visa gift cards.
Congratulations to the winners of this year’s Moonjar Project, some of whom are pictured here: Katie Pollock (grade 1), Zoe Daniels (grade 2), Harrison Hamilton (grade 2), Madison Sherriff (grade 3), Isabelle Annis (grade 4), Jacob Failor (grade 4) and Zay Brooks (grade 5).
