Remember when you were in Kindergarten some years ago and spent time writing the letters of the alphabet on a laminated sheet, learning your numbers and doing simple 1 + 1, and having a story read “to you” during story hour? Well, much has changed since then!
In Mrs. Carrier’s Kindergarten class, students have been working on a Project Based Learning Unit. They created books in the Book Creator app on the iPads and presented them to the class on the Smart Board. Students brought in items from home to tell their stories. They took pictures, videos, and put in everything to create a book.
