(Don’t miss the video link at the end of this story!)
St. Peter’s High School and Junior High students and staff will participate in the third annual Iditarod Race Against Hunger. This year’s Urban Iditarod will again benefit the H.O.P.E. Pantry at Catholic Charities. “House” groups will spend their energy and use their creativity for what will prove to be a fun and exciting mile-long race around the campus area with over 300 elementary students and staff watching and cheering them on. SPHS alum, Matt Failor, who finished 15th in this year’s Alaskan Iditarod will be in Mansfield to visit with the students on the day of the race.
Congratulations to all the students and staff–especially coordinators Mr. Strang and Mr. Henrich–for their efforts to conduct a great event that will benefit those in our community!
