The Air National Guard 179th Airlift Wing Division partnered with the students of St. Peter’s School in beautifying our grounds last Thursday in celebration of Earth Day–delayed from April 22 designated day so there was better chance for good weather. And it was a beautiful day!
Thank you to ANG member, Mr. Charette, for spearheading this project and to all the ANG members who assisted and worked side by side with the students. The project included mulching, planting flowers, cleaning sidewalks, raking leaves and, in general, making the grounds look much more beautiful! Thank you, also, to Liberty Gardens in Bellville for donating many of the very colorful flowers and the members of the Air National Guard who ran out for more supplies.
