Iditarod 2015 was a great success and great fun!
The money students raised over the last few weeks was spent at Kroger shopping for groceries the evening before the race. Thank you to Kroger for accommodating all our student shoppers and staff on Tuesday evening!
Following skits by each House group on Wednesday, junior high and high school students then ventured outside with their grocery carts and “mushers” and ran the course. It was the perfect day in terms of weather, every team completed the run and later loaded their groceries in the truck to be taken to Catholic Charities.
Again this year, Mr. Jeff Strang and Mr. Charlie Henrich were the coordinators of this great event that involves every student and staff member, grades 7-12. Thank you to them both!
