One of the new “works” at Montessori this month of May is the Horse “work”. Mrs. Bauer was invited to the morning and afternoon sessions to talk to the children about her personal experience with horses. She brought pictures of her horses, their reins and bits, her helmet and the blanket and saddle. The children were very interested in all of the equipment and even learned how to tell a horse which way you want them to go! Mrs. Bauer even let them sit on the saddle she uses with her horses!
