Tickets for The Music Man Now on Sale

The 2016 Parish & School Musical, The Music Man, opens next month!

Set in July 1912, The Music Man follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band he vows to organize – this despite the fact he does not know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian the librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall.

Once again, St. Peter’s will provide live music through a “John Phillips Sousa” like orchestra comprised of students and other local musicians.  All told, the actors, combined with the critical skills of the Tech Crew and wonderful sounds of the orchestra number more than 120 folks who will bring this delightful and foot-tapping show to life!  You might even see a few St. Peter’s teachers and a priest in the cast!  Also, a special collaboration with Carousel Works to help design the set, and round out the authenticity of how 1912 Mansfield patrons might view the show.

Reserved Tickets are now on sale through Eventbrite and the Parish Center office.
