A Week of Celebration for the SPHS Class of 2016

It was a celebratory week for the SPHS Class of 2016 with the Baccalaurete Mass taking place on Wednesday evening, May 18, and the senior honors assembly and graduation ceremonies on Thursday and Saturday, respectively.  For the first time ever, both the honors assembly and graduation ceremony took place in the Franciscan Activity Center.

Congratulations to all the graduates and their families!  Special congratulations to Claire Thrasher and Jacob Randall, recipients of the Bishop’s Cross, Valedictorian Charles Maxwell, and Salutatorian Thomas Schlitt.

Ninety-five percent (95%) of the graduates from the SPHS Class of 2016 are planning to pursue higher education and the graduates have over 3,360 hours of service in the Mansfield community from throughout their high school career.

The entire St. Peter’s community is proud of the graduates for living the mission of St. Peter’s School . . . “practicing Christian spirituality, achieving academic excellence and preparing to be of service to the world.”

Thank you to Emily Reith, SPHS 2010, for being the official photographer of all senior events and for providing these outstanding photos.

Thank you to our friends at the News Journal and Richland Source who joined us at the graduation.
