St. Peter’s Elementary School students had a last-day-of-school field day/fun day at Spartan Fields on Tuesday.
Fortunately, the weather was just about perfect–enough sun to get a good dose of Vitamin D and enough breeze to help keep things cooled down. Of course, the popsicles and ice water helped, too, as did one of the many games in which student participated–the wet sponge throw contest. And the pizza lunch? Well, pizza is always a winner!
Thanks to teacher, Mrs. Ashley Rastorfer, who organized the day’s festivities, to Mrs. Bauer and teachers and staff for assisting with all the events, to parents for being there to help, to Mr. Vaccaro for keeping Spartan Fields in top-notch shape and to the area businesses who donated items for lunch and elsewhere.
