The Integrated Theater Company, a collaboration among St. Peter’s Parish and School, the Renaissance Theater and Zoot Theater Company in Cincinnati is well underway already this summer.
This project is the result of the creative work of Tristan Cup who is artistic director of Zoot, Bob Neumann of the St. Peter’s Autism Program, Chelsie Thompson at The Renaissance Theater and Jim Cox-Director of Theater and Performing Arts at St. Peter’s School. The program is open to students age 9 through 18, including those on the autism spectrum. They will learn the fundamentals of theater, puppetry and storytelling.
The Theme of the Program is “A Magical World”. Students will build three separate puppets over the year using an underwater environment for the summer, an air environment in the fall and a land environment in the spring (2017).
Performances will be held at the Renaissance Theater both in the fall of 2016 and the spring of 2017.
For more information on the program or to involve your child, please contact Mr. Jim Cox or Mr. Bob Neumann or call the Renaissance Theater and ask for Chelsie Thompson 419-522-2726.
