Each November, the Montessori prepare the “Feast”, a favorite of our students and families. With the help of many parents and grandparents, they create several rooms with Pilgrim and Native American experiences. The children move through them in groups to learn and to take turns making the food that all will eat at the end of the day. They prepare real applesauce, corn pudding, pumpkin bread, and several other treats. They pray together after the students set the tables as did the Pilgrim and Native American children. Their time together is so much fun each year!
Thank you to Mrs. Beres for sending this information and photos.
