During the school year, sixth grade students have taken on the responsibility of making morning announcements.
Sixth grade teachers share a Google doc with the three students assigned for the week. On their iPads, students “fill in the blanks” each day for things such as the lunch menu for that day, the prayer for the day, Virtues in Practice tip of the week, student and staff birthday announcements, etc.
They open with prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance and make other announcements that are timely with that particular school day.
