Military Appreciation Night – Boys’ Basketball Game

For Friday, January 19, the Ohio High School Athletic Association has requested of high schools the consideration of a “Military Appreciation Night” at any basketball games. We know of several schools in our area who will be doing this, including our own St. Peter’s High School.

Our game is at home in the Franciscan Activity Center gymnasium. While there will be no formal program per se, all active-duty military as well as veterans will be admitted to the Spartan boys’ basketball game for free and they will receive a free hot dog and bottled water, compliments of the Spartan Athletic Boosters.

Additionally, the Boys Scouts of St. Peter’s Parish will be doing the Color Guard just prior to the 7:20 p.m. start of the boys’ varsity basketball game.
