Mrs. James and Mrs. Rizzo invited parents into their classrooms today to view the work their children have been completing.
Mrs. James had a STEM Fair Thursday evening and students presented their projects, with the boards displayed throughout the rest of today. All elementary teachers and their students were also invited to visit the classroom today so they could see the projects.
Mrs. Rizzo had each student’s language arts folder on display. Every student’s folder included a writing sample from each grade, beginning with first grade. Mrs. Rizzo explained that it is a great way for students to see their progress through the six years. This year’s project for sixth graders was a digital yearbook, with each month requiring different writing assignments.
