Last week was teacher appreciation week and school buildings had a multitude of things going on to show our teachers how much they are appreciated.
Parents’ Club brought in sweet treats on Monday.
Father Hite tempted their sweet tooth again on Tuesday with delicious cupcakes.
Teachers played bingo for gift cards and there was a Friday pizza treat.
Students, staff, and parents could post thank yous on the “staff shout out” bulletin board.
Parents’ Club brought in school supplies from which teachers could choose for classroom needs.
And, according to hs/jrhi office secretary, Mrs. Ralph, student council brought treats in every day for the high school/junior high teachers. Mrs. Ralph said she thinks the average weight gain was about 1.2 pounds per staff member and that staff fat camp was starting next week!
