Following the Senior Awards Assembly on Thursday, graduates of the SPHS Class of 2018 departed the assembly, walked over to St. Peter’s Elementary School led by Father Austin, and made their way through the halls that were lined with students and staff for the third annual “Senior Walk”.
The “Senior Walk” gave the elementary staff and students an opportunity to congratulate the St. Peter’s High School Class of 2018 with a lot of hooting and hollering and high (and low!) fives. Upon departing the building, each senior received a congratulations and gift from elementary principal Mrs. Bauer and elementary assistant principal Mrs. Rastorfer. It was obvious to those watching that the young ones look up to the graduates and hope to be in their shoes, not too many years from now. The fact that weather was perfect gave us the opportunity to get a photo of the graduates and students in grades K-6. Congratulations, graduates! Go Spartans!
