Students and staff represented St. Peter’s School at Saturday’s Autism Awareness Walk-a-thon, held at the Richland County Fairgrounds. The purpose of the walk-a-thon is to raise awareness in the local community and beyond and to help local families who have loved ones afflicted with this neurological disorder to find resources and support. Autism affects 1 out of 88 children. Thank you to this group who spent much of their Saturday helping raise awareness and answering questions from families who are looking for information and support. Go Spartans!
