Most of you are aware that yesterday, September 25, a teacher discovered the words “bomb threat” written in an elementary school bathroom on a stall partition wall.
Within two minutes of discovering the message, the police were involved and we followed their instructions exactly, which concluded with an email from the Principal being sent to parents via Alma (the student information system) after students were safely released from school for the day. Subsequent disciplinary action will be handled promptly and with discretion.
We would like to thank the Mansfield Police Department Supervisors and Officers who were on scene for their quick response and detailed advice throughout the situation.
As parents, we thank you for your support and understanding when situations like this arise – the safety of your children is our primary priority and concern at all times.
