Miss Ohio, Matti-Lynn Chrisman, reached elementary and junior high students and staff during her visit on Wednesday to St. Peter’s School with her “Pain Isn’t Always Obvious” campaign. She discussed bullying and reactions to emotions. Her campaign focuses on mental health awareness and suicide prevention and these past five months have taken her to numerous schools and other events during her reign as Miss Ohio. Her home host during this past June’s pageant week, parish secretary/receptionist, Mrs. Joyce Wells, accompanied Miss Ohio to the assembly.
