Inspired by mural artist Kelsey Montaque, each of Mrs. Couch’s high school art classes was given an archangel to research. They looked up symbols associated with each of the three major archangels: St. Michael (Art 1: 1A), St. Gabriel (Art 1: 2B) and St. Raphael (Art1: 4A).
Father Hite generously allowed each class time to sketch in the church for research on the angels and wings. Working as a group, several students volunteered to work on the center name and prayer, while the rest of their class worked in teams to complete the wings and the symbols inside.
