“During this National Teacher’s Appreciation Week, we gathered Wednesday evening to honor nine outstanding Catholic School teacher ministers with the 2019 Golden Apple Awards! Inspired by their daily commitment to model Jesus the teacher for their students, schools and parishes, was so glad to acknowledge their commitment and sacrifice, as we thank the Donahue Foundation for making these awards possible. Congratulations to all our awardees and prayerful gratitude to them, to Matt Daniels and our Catholic Education Department Team, and to all our teachers who day in and day out dedicate themselves to teach and minister in the name of Christ and His Church!”
