A Spartan shout out to all St. Peter’s track team coaches and athletes for representing St. Peter’s High School at this past weekend’s district track tournament. A double shout out for two athletes who have qualified for regional competition by finishing in the top four. They will compete next week on Wednesday and Friday in Tiffin.
Jonah Ramey jumped 5’10” to finish in second place in the high jump. Great job! Good luck next weekend, Jonah!
John Harris finished third in the 110 hurdles with a time of 16.83. Awesome! Good luck next weekend, John!
Other notable accomplishments provided by Coach Schlitt are as follows:
The boys 4 x 200 broke their school record with a time of 1:39.27 (prelims). Way to go Joey, Caden, John and Jonah!
Caden Brubaker equaled his season best in the pole vault. His jump of 10-6 was good for fifth place!
The girls 4 x 200 ran a season best with a time of 1:59.73. Great job Sophie, Carolyn, Ally and Aliya!
The boys 4 x 100 finished sixth in the finals with a 47.55. Great job team!
Zack Keffelas finished seventh in the 3200 (11:20) and ninth in the 1600 (4:59.77).
Aliya Mitchell finished eighth in the Long Jump at 14-10. And she made it back in time to receive her diploma at the Class of 2019 graduation!

There were some personal/seasons best set that are worth noting. It is so good to see these athletes peak at the best meet of the year. Great job!
Ally Gatchall, in only her fourth try, ran a fast 800 of 2:43.70!
Eden Stanfield ran 7:55.03 in the 1600.
Austin Dull ran 3:00.42 in the 800.
The boys 4 x 400 dropped from 4:03 to 3:56.29. Zack, Caden, Joey, and Ethan all ran 59 seconds! Well done.
