Appointment of New Acting Principals

Very Reverend Gregory R. Hite, Pastor of St. Peter’s Catholic Church and Local Superintendent of St. Peter’s School, Mansfield, has recently appointed two new leaders for the parochial school system.

Ashley Rastorfer, currently Director of the Montessori and Assistant Elementary Principal, will become the Acting Principal of St. Peter’s School, Montessori through grade 6.  She has been associated with the St. Peter’s School system since 2013, serving as an elementary teacher in pre-school, kindergarten, third and fourth grades. Mrs. Rastorfer earned her Master of Education in Administration from Ashland University and holds a Professional Early Childhood (P-3) Teaching License and a Professional Principal License (PK-6) in the State of Ohio.  She is also an adjunct instructor at Ashland University’s College of Education.

Jonathan R. Cuttitta, Dean of Students at St. Peter’s High School since 2014, will become the Acting Principal of St. Peter’s High School and Junior High, grades 7 through 12.  He has been on staff at St. Peter’s since 2012, teaching Physics, Chemistry, Algebra 2 and Pre-Algebra. Mr. Cuttitta earned his Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the American College of Education and holds a Professional Adolescence to Young Adult (7-12) Teaching License and a Professional Principal License (5-12) in the State of Ohio.

Both acting principals will officially begin duties on August 1, 2019.

St. Peter’s School is celebrating 150 years in service to youth and families in the Mansfield community. The school is chartered by the State of Ohio and is fully accredited by the Ohio Catholic Schools Accreditation Association.
