If your child plans to participate in a high school or junior high athletic team at St. Peter’s during the 2019-2020 school year, the Ohio High School Athletic Association mandates that you attend one meeting hosted by the school. A meeting is held prior to the start of each sports season, but you only need to attend one of them during a given school year.
Our fall meeting will be on Sunday, August 11 at 7:00 pm in the Franciscan Activity Center Gymnasium. If you attend this meeting, your child is covered for all the sports seasons for the 2019-2020 school year.
Also, to participate in any athletic contest, students must have a current physical form on file with the Athletic Department. Those physical forms, plus all the others that need to be completed by athletes and their parents, will be available at the meeting. They can also be obtained from the Parish Center and High School office starting on Monday, August 5.
Completed forms can be placed in the wire basket hanging on my office door in the high school, or they can be given to me at the meeting.
