Monday afternoon, Charlie Henrich ’69 sent the following email to our students and staff. With Charlie’s permission, we are sharing his news so our Spartan family can provide the prayers needed for him and his family.

Dear St. Peter’s School Community,
I would like to share some information with all of you. As some of you may know, I have been dealing with various health issues for the past few months. During a medical procedure last week, it was discovered that I have cancer. To be more specific, I have been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
Unfortunately, I have been instructed by my Oncologist that I will need to be off from work for several weeks so they can run more tests and formulate/implement a treatment plan.
Therefore, I wanted to reach out to all of you in an effort to minimize any speculation as to the reason for my temporary absence from school.
Please pray for me and my family, especially our three children, Luke, Russ, and Sophia.
