The Advent season is a time that signifies preparation for the “coming” of Jesus’ birth, prayer, penance, and sacrifice. With this in mind, St. Peter’s Montessori/Elementary School was inspired to make their “Wall of Love” a part of the Advent season.
Collection of donations for the St. Peter’s Montessori/Elementary “Wall of Love” is taking place now through December 13 across the campus of St. Peter’s Parish and School. Collections can include such as toothbrushes, toothpastes, soaps, brushes, combs, hats, gloves, scarves, warm socks, hand warmers, etc.
Donations will be bagged by student volunteers and clipped to the chain link fence next to the elementary school on Mulberry Street on THURSDAY, DECEMBER 19, at 2 p.m. The “Wall of Love” sign will hang in that section of chain link fence. Thanks to Tridico Silk Screening and Sign Company for the beautiful design.
Once students and staff have clipped the bags to the fence, they are available to anyone in the Mansfield community who has need of any of these items.
