On Friday, St. Peter’s Parish & School was honored to welcome Bishop Daniel Thomas to our campus. The Bishop of Toledo makes a school visit every two years to meet members of the senior and junior class.
The day began with the celebration of Mass in the church. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, only the high school and junior high school students were in attendance. After Mass, the bishop was treated to lunch with a handful of students and staff in Assisi Hall.
The afternoon featured a question and answer session with the upperclassmen on a wide range of topics including race relations, the role of women in the church, LGBTQ relationships, and even some lighter subjects like the Bishop’s favorite social media platform.
