Volunteer Appreciation Day

Last week on Tuesday, school volunteers were invited to the all-school Mass where they were recognized with reserved seating and a special poem, read by an elementary school student before Mass started. At the beginning of Mass, Father Jeremy also recognized and thanked all the volunteers who helped in many capacities during the school year. Following Mass, Mr. Johnson gave a tour and explained the history of the church. From there, volunteers enjoyed a catered lunch, Mr. Johnson playing the piano, beautiful cookie desserts, many great door prizes, and a musical performance of elementary school students led by Mr. Joe Clark, music teacher. Both Mrs. Bauer and Mr. Wasiniak also enjoyed visiting with the volunteers and thanking them for their service to the school.
