Prior to spring break, students in Mrs. Couch’s Art 1 class learned about color, modern op art and optical illusions. Because of the complexity, students worked on these projects up until the last week of school to finish.
They also started ceramics the second week of May and finished painting their figures during the last few days of class. The pizza was created by Art II student Chase Michael Smith and it looks good enough to eat!
Lastly, to finish up the year, they took some time do a short, one-day folded paper project. Mrs. Couch says it was something several students really liked and would like to see more of next year. Enjoy some summer images of these flowers, trees, and campfires.
