April 6-12 was National Week of the Young Child. The National Association for the Education of Young Children sponsors the event every year. This year’s theme is “Early Years are Learning Years”.
The high school Child Development class planned a special recognition for all St. Peter’s families with children in Daycare through 3rd grade. Gift bags included a blue ribbon for Child Abuse Prevention Month, a parent care kit, a coloring sheet, a bunny craft, and suggested follow-up poems, rhymes and songs. Over 200 bags were assembled and delivered!
