American Red Cross “Hometown Hero” Contest Winners

Congratulations to sixth graders Zoe Blank, Ian Chambers, Myla Creed, and Sophie Tridico whose “What is a Hometown Hero” essays were selected to be read aloud at the American Red Cross breakfast and Hero Awards Reception on May 1.  Language Arts teacher, Mrs. Sarah Rizzo, attended the event with the students as did their parents.

Among those adults honored by the Red Cross during the reception Thursday was Judy Tridico who received the Spirit of the Red Cross award for her work organizing a blood drive to honor her son.
