Congratulations to both Mock Trial teams that participated this past Friday in the Richland County Mock Trial competition and to Jeff Strang, teacher moderator, and Jeff Underwood from the firm Beyer, Jerger, Underwood. Mr. Strang credits Mr. Underwood for much of their success and says that he has done St. Peter’s High School a great service these past 18 years serving as attorney moderator.
Defeating Norwalk St. Paul and Lake Ridge Academy, Team Randall and Marek, including Christopher Marek, Jake Randall, Chris Baldasare, Alec Baldasare, Meghan Keller, Andrew Box and Anthony Katsaounis will advance to the regional competition, to be held on February 20.
Claire Phillips, Christian Hall, Adam Blunk, Brady Rice, Lucia Rice, Olivia Haller and Zack Dollish also represented St. Peter’s High School in the competition as a team.
Christopher Marek received Outstanding Attorney in both trial competitions, Claire Phillips received Outstanding Attorney and Meghan Keller was awarded Outstanding Witness.
