See You At The Pole

The annual “See You at the Pole” that reaches students and schools nationwide is in its 25th year. Leading prayer was Mr. Charlie Henrich and Mr. Mike Wasiniak alongside as well as other staff and students from St. Peter’s High School and Junior High very early on Wednesday morning–7:20 a.m. in fact.

Students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. On Wednesday, September 23, students from St. Peter’s School gathered on the front steps of the high school building for the See You at the Pole morning prayer.

This global day of student prayer began in 1990 as a grass roots movement with ten students praying at their school. Twenty years later, millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September.

Students and staff who joined the circle of prayer were invited to add special intentions for which all would pray.

Our friends at Richland Source and the News Journal were there for a story.
