The oldest and largest Easter Bake sale in the area will be held on Tuesday, March 22, (7 a.m. – 6 p.m.) and Wednesday, March 23, (7 a.m. – 1 p.m.) in the basement of St. Peter’s Catholic Church. This annual event takes an army of hardworking, generous people from all faiths to make this event a success. The traditions continue to provide goodies for Easter baskets and feasts.
Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. both days and will feature cabbage rolls with bread, our famous broccoli soup, cabbage and noodles, sloppy joes, shredded chicken sandwiches, egg and potato salads, hot dogs, drinks and beverages. The bake sale also features the following:
- St. Peter’s renowned poticas, a Slovak nut-filled pastry,
- Braided breads and butter rings
- Thousands of candy confections.
- 3,000 cabbage rolls
- Potato salad
- 400 dozen colored Easter Eggs
- and more!
In additional, our bake sale committee makes hundreds of cookies, cakes, pies, pizzelles, baklava, breads, noodles and other wonderful home baked good made by a myriad of great bakers from our parish and community.
