A special congratulations to Corinne Amalfitano who was elected one of four senior level representatives to the Ohio Association of Student Councils State Board. Corinne will serve a one-year term and will be helping to plan leadership activities for students all over the state of Ohio in the coming year As a candidate at the conference, Corinne gave a three-minute speech on “How can a student demonstrate leadership/citizenship/sportsmanship?” and had to answer the impromptu question “Why should a council evaluate its progress?” In prior years, Corinne has attended four state conferences, two summer workshops, two leadership at the points, two super Saturdays, one fall retreat and one winter retreat.
