National School Lunch Week

Created in 1962 by President John F. Kennedy, National School Lunch Week celebrates the benefits of the National School Lunch Program (the largest federal child nutrition program).  This year, National School Lunch Week was celebrated this week of October 12-16.

Thank you to Mrs. Schuck and her cafeteria staff here at St. Peter’s.  We are so fortunate that they provide the students and staff with an option of food choices that is not available in many school lunch programs.

(Missing from the photo is Mrs. Schuck’s daughter, Sarah.)
