On Tuesday, the Montessori ran a very important campaign. After teaching the concepts of citizenship, respect, democracy, and good sportsmanship (winning with grace and losing with strength), they proceeded to run their campaigns.
Mrs. Rastorfer and Mrs. Brewer chose to endorse PLAIN DONUTS and Mrs. Beres rallied support for GLAZED. Students went to the polls and placed their choice upon a ballot. Today the results came in and . . . they ALL enjoyed sticky sweet treats for snack.
Their emphasis to the students was that while not everyone chose the winner, they all need to respect the process.
