On a beautiful spring afternoon, St. Peter’s School held a ceremony to honor Mr. Charlie Henrich ’69, a parishioner, alumnus, theology teacher, coach, school chaplain, husband and father, and mentor to many students through the years. Charlie lost his battle with cancer last July.
A memorial bench was dedicated in front of the Franciscan Activity Center in his memory. The bench was donated by the Class of 2020. Father Hite, dedicated the bench with a blessing and prayer. Additional remarks were made by longtime colleague and friend Jeff Strang.
Many members of the Henrich family were in attendance, including his wife and kids Natalie ’90, Luke ’19, Sophia, and Russ.
